Optimizely Unveils B2B Cloud Solutions For Commerce And Content

Optimizely came out with two new offerings in the form of integrations for the Content and Commerce Clouds of their platform. The move takes the B2B functions of the Content Cloud and shares them with the Commerce Cloud. This enables marketing teams to be able to access a variety of features. According to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Optimizely, with the integration of the Commerce Cloud with the Content Cloud, businesses bring the capabilities of the Content Cloud to Commerce.

Optimizely is a digital experience platform. They recently announced two new integrated offerings. More specifically, these new products are in the areas of Commerce and Content. They both make it easier for large teams to reach their desired audience. 

Optimizely’s new Clouds enable customers to:

  • Leverage the B2B functions in the (B2B) Commerce Cloud
  • Take advantage of the managerial capabilities of the Content Cloud to “manage all pages, templates, content and website assets.”
  • Utilize a unique search engine to look for products in both the Content and Commerce Cloud; marketers can also merge results
  • Manage product catalogs in B2B Commerce while having all the products available for use in the Content Cloud.”
  • Use the shared data in the Commerce and Content Clouds to construct numerous websites 

The CPO at Optimizely, Justin Anovick, commented that:

“Optimizely Content Cloud has a long history of providing marketers with extensive tools for content publication and creation of exceptional digital experiences… With the integration of B2B Commerce Cloud, businesses can extend these tools to B2B customers, enabling the delivery of optimal digital experiences across audiences”
